How the score works
Every check below adds or subtracts points, and every one shows up as a line of evidence under the cat. The score is a set of signals, never a verdict. Nobody is called a cheater here.
Red flags (add points)
- Recent ban. A VAC or game ban in the last year: +60, which is High on its own. Steam doesn't say which game it was in.
- Banned friends. Friends who got a VAC or game ban after becoming friends. Cheaters tend to add other cheaters, and it's the hardest signal to fake. Three or more, and at least a fifth of the friends list: +35. One or two: +10.
- New account. Under 30 days old: +15. On its own this can't reach High, because lots of legit players have new accounts.
- Headshot rate. A lifetime headshot rate of 65% or more with under 300 hours: +20. Only when the stats are public.
- Few CS hours. Under 50 hours: +10.
- No other games. No other games with at least 2 hours played: +10.
- Went private. The profile was public last time we checked, now it's private: +10.
- Steam level 0: +5.
- FACEIT cheating ban: +40. Other FACEIT bans (toxicity, leaving) are shown but don't count.
- Old ban. A ban more than a year ago: +5. Steam doesn't say which game it was in.
Trust signals (subtract points)
- Long FACEIT history. Matches played under FACEIT's own anti-cheat with no cheating ban. 500+ matches: −25. 100+: −10.
- Account 5+ years old: −20.
- 10+ other games with real playtime: −10.
- Steam level 20+: −5.
Tiers
- Clean. Nothing to see. Probably just better than you.
- Low. Normal guy. Statistically.
- Medium. Hm.
- High. This cat has seen things.
- Unknown. Profile's private. The cat can't see in either.
Clean is under 15, Low from 15, Medium from 35, High from 60. If fewer than two of the core checks (account age, hours, friends, stats, FACEIT) can be read, the result is Unknown. A private profile lowers our confidence, not the player's standing.
What this can't see
Smurfs and new players can score high. Cheaters on bought, aged accounts can score clean. This only reads public Steam and FACEIT profile data, not how someone actually plays. Steam's lifetime K/D and headshot numbers include the CS:GO years and every game mode.
